Well, I’m here in the DC area and it is cold here! The news said this is the coldest it’s been in 5 years here. I was out in the Georgetown area last night with my girlfriend and luckily we didn’t have to walk too much. I guess I am spoiled by the warm California weather.

Anyways, it hasn’t been snowing here for a while but it looks like it might on Sunday and Monday ( MLK day). We’ll be going to a party on Saturday and then Sunday we’ll beDC for the Inauguration concerts. That should be fun. Here’s a list of the performers that will be appearing at the Lincoln memorial:

Tuesday we are planning to get to DC early. Perhaps as early as 5 or 6 am. Hmmm. I don’t know about that, but it probably would be a good idea to get there early and stay late because of the massive crowds expected.

As I posted previously I decided to go to the inauguration and bought a hat for the event. It’s a cool black hat with Obama sticked signature, presidential seal and Obama logo. You can find some Obama hats at live auction below:
